Performing at FFDN

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Fall for Dance North Festival, and our related events and activities.

The programming team of Fall for Dance North and is responsible for shaping all programming policies and strategies for the organization.

At this time, there is no formal application process to share your work with our festival. FFDN's artistic team encourages Canadian and international artists to send through information about their upcoming performances, showcases and open rehearsals. As a dance festival that strives for greater diversity, accessibility and inclusion, we aim to support work from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and choreographic forms and styles that is purposeful, contemporary, dynamic, and brave. Companies/collectives perform on our mainstages by invitation and we make best efforts to see work live and develop a relationship with the creators before extending an invitation. From time-to-time, we launch open calls and engage with artistic selection committees and guest curators for select programming streams within our festival.

Please send a brief introduction to your work and include video links (full-length preferred) to FFDN's Artistic Director & Co-CEO, Robert Binet at rob@ffdnorth.com and Festival Director & Co-CEO Lily Sutherland at lily@ffdnorth.com. We make best efforts to review all inquiries in a timely fashion (typically within 4 - 6 weeks) and respond to artists whose creative work might align with FFDN’s current programming vision and scope.

Thank you for your interest in engaging in conversation with our festival’s programming team.
